rules the basics rattlesnake is a game with adult themes. writers must be over the age of 18 to play. your pb must be over the age of 18. your character must be 21+. treat others with respect. we have a zero tolerance policy on bullying and harrassment. ic/ooc line crossing will not be tolerated. while we are a game that is based around a brothel and strip club, not everything is sexual - nor does it have to be. character development and interaction with others outside of your main romantic storylines are highly encouraged. the current character limit is five. however, if a player is not keeping up with their current characters, they will not be allowed to take on more. this is up to mod discretion. no kinkshaming. explicit content of any kind must be behind a cut-tag. trigger warnings should be displayed where appropriate. applying characters need an ic style journal. no numbers or excessive underscores. ic style means first name, last name or some combination of the two. characters should have a screened out of character post. this will contain character information. this should include the following information: a brief bio or list of facts and basic character info (name, age, occupation, kinks list). characters should have an in character friends post. ic and ooc posts should be backdated as the first two posts in your journal. you will be asked to submit writing samples. this will inclue one first/third person narrative example and a scene example. you must reveal your current characters to the mods when applying a new character. activity we require two forms of activity. the first will be any type of interactive post (this means it's public and characters can comment on it - the comments must be mostly replied to in order for this to count). the second type of acitivty can be in the form of any of the following: a thread with 5+ replies, a narrative, or interactive post. members must drop off their activity to the member activity post in order to be marked off for the month. activity removals will be done on the last day of the month. members can request a hiatus through the member dropbox.
